Right now pretty much all of my belongings are in storage while our house is under construction. However, I want to start trying to find 2 more of the same monitor I already have so I can run eyefinity.

I can't remember what model number it is and it's driving me crazy and I was hoping all the people here might be able to help.

Here is what I remember:

Dell
24" LCD (widescreen)
silver base w/ black frame around screen
basic inputs (just DVI and DB15)
it wasn't the top of the line model

Any help? Sorry, I know this probably sounds really stupid.

Did you try looking on the label? On the back of the LCD monitor. It should tell you the model number of it.

I think he's saying the monitor is in storage and doesn't have access to it.

Do you have a confirmation e-mail of the purchase from Dell? Maybe that would have the info. Also, when did you buy your monitor and how much did you pay for it?

You are correct, it's buried in the back of our storage space. I bought it maybe 2.5 years ago from someone on here and I think it was about $200-$250.

the search functions works now. Maybe you could go thru your post history and find the FS thread you bought it from?

Well I can rule out 2405FP or 2408FPW or any of those. Dell has a list on its support website with pictures.

E248WFP maybe?

Viper GTS

BINGO! Thanks.

There are none on ebay and the ones elsewhere are more expensive than I expected. Maybe I'm better off selling it and getting 3 new displays.

Regardless, thanks for the help.

You may have a problem running three as that monitor doesn't seem to have a Displayport...

Edit: I should clarify: I meant 3 of the OP's monitor.

Yes, but there are very few monitors that support Displayport. Getting 3 monitors without DP and getting an active adapter, maybe the new Sapphire one, might be cheaper.

I figured on needing an adapter, but I still need to do more research before I buy anything.
