Short my specs:

Win8.1 with Spring Update with Classic Shell. I configured my Win8.1 in a way so I never see or use "Start", it's basically looking like Win7 and I dont need/use any Metro/Tablet feature.

I am relatively certain this behaviour started after the recent Spring update of Win8.1

What happens is that my mouse behaves in odd ways which extremely irritate me.

For example: I have a folder window open in background. Now I have another window on top of it. If I grab and drag the top window at the menu bar and very quickly "swipe" the top window left/right on the desktop...the underlying window all of a sudden minimizes!

It is extremely, extremely irritating since my PC basically performs actions without me wanting those. I don't know what other things, "mouse gestures" ??? are active nor do I see options to disable them, either in Windows or Classic Shell.

Please help me to disable this.

That is "Shake", which was introduced, I believe, with the Windows 7 UI Shell. It's part of Windows, it's built-in.

Edit: Yep, I'm running Win7 HP 64-bit SP1, and it works here too. Minimizes all your background windows, I believe.

Have no idea how one might go about disabling it, a registry edit perhaps?

Ease of Access Center -> Make the mouse easier to use -> Prevent windows from being automatically arranged

There is a setting in PC Settings > Mouse to disable the swipe gesture

I forgot where exactly it is since I downgraded to Windows 7 Pro after the Windows 8.1 update 1. Constantly had desktop icons freezing for 1 min after every reboot and this is on a clean install with the latest ISO of 8.1

Each update makes Windows 8 better in my experience
