Hey all,

I got my parents an "Elite PC" (brand) computer for christmas off a uBid auction. I loaded WinME (shhh...), but it didn't pick up the video or NIC drivers. Both of which are onboard. I can't seem to even figure out what kind of mobo is in it, besides being micro atx. Is there a way to figure out what drivers I need to get? Please help :)

Ive tried the manufacturer's website (here)

and i've tried looking at the motherboard manufacturer's site (here)

but my hands are kind of tied since i don't know the model of motherboard.

as for dumping winMe, I would, but that's what my parents use, and that's what they are comfortable with :(

AMI isn't the maker of the MB. They are a bios manufacturer. Do you have the machine in front of you? check my profile for my IM info

usually if you look at the first startup screen at the bottom left you'll see the model of your m/board with it bios revision.
if you don't want to open the case then try using sandra under m/board properties to see what board you have!

You say that you've loaded the OS?? If so, then download SiSoft Sandra 2001te, that sould be able to recognise the chipset, motherboard etc...

Cheers
