Help me design airflow of this case.

Hi,
There are 3 fans. PSU fan, HSF fan and one 60mm exhaust fan (SilenX, loud). I'm trying to improve airflow of the case. The temp is about 10c higher when I close the lid.
Condition: HSF 120mm quiet Nexus fan @ Full speed, 60mm exhaust fan SilenX full speed.

Open case:
CPU idle: 29-30c System idle: 30-32c
CPU load: 42c System load:35-39c

Closed case:
CPU idle: 39c System idle: 41c
CPU load: 53c System load: 50c

MSI K8NGM2-FID, stock passive cooler on NB and SB
Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 1.15GHz - 2.3GHz with Zalman 7700AlCu (Nexus 120mm mod)

eVGA GeForce6600 128MB, passively cooled by Thermaltake CL-G0003

Still finding a good (fast) internal 3.5" multi card reader!

those temps are not bad, even with the case closed. Only things I really see are you could add an additional 60mm exhaust and cut the grils out of the case as they are often VERY restrictive. Also, if you're not putting anything on top of this, you could cut a hole and mount an intake fan on the top of the case.

What do you think of ditching the 60mm exhaust fan and put two 80mm fans as exhaust at the passive intakes. So the air flow will reverse. I think the way they put the 60mm fan and vent next to each other might cause more shortcuts. In addition, both the PSU and HSF fans are sucking the air downward.
Also, what do u think about ducting?

I would put those as intakes long before exhausts. A negatively pressurized case is going to give you higher temps because your internal fans(ie cpu and psu) are not able to move as much air. Ducting is never really a bad idea but, in a case this small would probably make minimal difference, if any.

I added a top 120mm vent on my PC-60s and replaced my other 80mm with Yate Loons. My temp improved to 44C at loads on my rigs. The YLs cost $4.99 (ebay) and are so quiet (28 dBA). I have 2 80mm as intakes, 1 80mm and 1 120mm as exhausts. I also use a slot fan on my video card + AMD HSF. My AMDs in my LLs seem to work fine. My ambient temperature is 22C.

I have a 80mm laying around. I'll try to put it in as intake for testing and will let you know.
