I've run into that one a couple of times. When I tried running spybot and ad-aware, neither saw it, to be able to remove it. I ended up doing a search of the registry for the name of the toolbar. The toolbar name was all random letters like, dbfgkjpr. When I was deleting the entries in the registry, I also looked at the information in the keys, and saw that it was refering to an odd .dll and also a .exe which I don't remember what it was called. I then deleted those files also. That finally got rid of it. It's dug in deep.

Got the same problem but its a home page issue. Seems a search engine called Clearfind.com has taken refuge as my homepage. Only problem is under internet options its greyed out so I can't change it! I've tried spy-bot and ad-aware but its still there! Running Windows XP Home on a P4 1.4 GHZ hp Pavilion Notebook. Anyone got any advice as to what else I should try?:|

I also use Spybot and have had good luck with it. Was the spyware installed on your system called Xupiter? I never realized how much spyware was being installed on my system until I started running Adware and Spybot! Good luck.
