Tundra CrewMax 5.7 here!

If I was ever forced to own and drive something referred to as a "cute-ute" I would eat a bullet. (Or maybe just take the bus.)

i graduate in august and i'll be buying it for myself once i graduate... i'll be taking out a loan. i need to nail down an associateship or independent contract first, though. i still can't decide wtf i want to do. i really don't know jack crap about billing and insurance stuff... even though they taught us about it, it went in one ear and out the other.

If you're just graduating I'd work for a few months before you get the car. It will help you get some cash to put down on the car and get you some money for emergencies. By the time you do that I would expect the new Equinox would be available so you'd have to decide between all the ones you're looking at now and that one also. From the reviews its been getting the Equinox will be decent competition.

i've got the money down already for whatever i wanna get. and i'm not in any debt from school or anything, so getting a loan would probably be pretty easy.

the equinox is coming out in late august early september, from what i've heard.

I know nothing about these two cars/CUVs but Ford gets my vote (and likely my next purchase) for sticking it out and not taking any government money.
