Ok, I'm thinking on making my GBA game collection bigger... So, vote in the polls to help influence what I'm going to buy TONITE!

If you want to suggest a different game than those listed, please feel free but also vote!

Sounds like when I started playing Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo back in college 😀

I've been wanting to buy it, but can't find a new copy of Aria of Sorrow anywhere.

FFTA is a great game, BTW.

Metroid Zero Mission is Metroid from the NES. If you haven't played it, get it. If you have played the original Metroid, get Metroid Fusion.

It's Metroid from the NES, only waaaay better. After playing all the Metroid sequels, it's almost painful to go back to the first one, unaltered.

I knew it was like the first, but how much different is it?

The main map is more or less the same, but there's more hidden areas. You get a map now, you can fire diagonally, jump while in ball form, and hang on to the end of platforms when you don't jump quite far enough. You also get the dash attack, super missiles, and super bombs. They also set up new puzzle-type elements to require usage of the new items.

Dunno if that really warrants a purchase... I probably should have done some research before posting the poll!

Well, I've played all the Metroids, and through the original a good number of times, but I still had loads of fun with Zero Mission. If you can get it used or something, you should definitely pick it up. I think it was $25 brand new (I had a Best Buy Gift Card to use).

I've played the main ones Metroid, Super Metroid and Metroid Prime. I really wish that they stuck with the sidescroller formula. I like prime a lot, but I'm just not that good at FPS console games 🙂

two hundred hours??? holy sh!t!

The only other games that I've played for nearly that long are Phantasy Star Online (110h for the DC version, and 80 for the Cube version) and Dark Age of Camelot (when I stopped I think I had 240h logged)

Sidescrollers seem to be a tough sell on another system other than GBA though 🙁
There is Viewtiful Joe, but I of course have not even checked it out yet. I intend to, but it's under Mario Kart: Double Dash on my GC list.

This is true... Plus now that they've got the GBA player, they really dont need to make them for GCN! I dunno about viewtiful, that game still looks too weird to me.

FFTA is not as good as the original tactics but its still good cause of the gameplay, IMO story sucks ass.

Yeah that seems to be the general thoughts elsewhere. I've never played the original so I have nothing to compare it to.
