Heads = Intel
Tails = OCZ

Yes I agree Intel SSD will be more reliable and not prone to breaking down or dying like a Vertex might.

The speeds you wont notice a difference. Go with whats more reliable and that is Intel, the OCZ might die in a year or two lets say, while the Intel one is running fine. Keep it in a nice place nice and cool and it should have a long life. Go with the X25 ,,,,,, GL

Has there been a rash of Agility 2 failures that would justify the "Intel is more reliable" sentiment?

We all know how valuable Newegg reviews are, yet even they don't refect any superiority of the Intel X25-M Mainstream over the OCZ Agility 2.
