Help me decide on a solution to my upgrade

Ok so eventually I want to go Nforce4 SLI but at this time I do not have the patience to wait for that option.

BUT I will go there sometime in the next 6 months. For now I need something that will minimize my upgrade at that time.

Obviously Nforce SLI is pci-e and skt 939.

Is there a 939 board now with pci-e?

If not I guess I'm screwed eh? Because If I want a non pci-e 939 I will have to get an AGP gfx card which will have no value for my next upgrade.

If I go with a different socket motherboard with pci-e I will be able to reuse the gfx card, but not the CPU.

So if I get a 939 now with a good cpu and get a good gfx card I will just have to sell the gfx card later or something... that wouldnt be that big of a deal I guess.

Here's what I was thinkin though.

I could get a *decent* cpu now and then upgrade that again in 6 mo.

well if you plan to upgrade that soon, just get 64 3000+ 90nm.. overclock the hell out of it and hope it doesnt burn up before you get a new one! 😛
