Help me decide on a logo

We're designing a new logo for our company. The threads are here:

What are people's thoughts? Any favorites? Anyone who thinks they can do better? 😛

Its funny because our favorite so far is this:

But alex's logo comes in a very close second. Why do you like alex's better?

Power button is my favorite. Too many of those remind me of a "circle 7" TV station logo.

That one is boring... not memorable. Alex's could use some work to make it flow more, though.

hard to visualize the "1" in that logo vs. alex's

The rest look like shit, IMHO.

90% of them look like the exact same shit with different colors.

Well that's the point - the 1 is supposed to be subtle.

Serious organization. Our current website is www.bitvenue.com, but we hate the logo there.

If you know someone who can do a better job than these guys, we'd gladly pay (reasonably)
