Help Me Deceide !

I have an Epox 8RDA+ running with XP 1700+ @ 2.1G stable for about a year now. (12.5x166)

Just bought an XP 2600+ MOBILE and a Shuttle MN31N Motherboard to put in an ARIA case.

My question is:

Should I put the 2600 in the Epox board or will any gain be minimal and not worth the trouble? I am assuming that this combo will work from other posts here also.

Im thinking the Shuttle will benefit from lower temps of a mobile but the Epox lets me adjust Proc voltage. Can I adjust the multiplier any higher on the mobile or an I limited to 12.5?

Sorry if I am confused on any of these issues.

Any opinions welcome.

Why not try the CPU's in both boards? After all its your hardware.

Yeah!! Thought the same thing but not so easy to swap Procs in the Aria case and dont want to mess up my 1700+ thats running so strong if its not worth it.

Easy to do the first time if I just move the 1700 to the Shuttle but a lot more work later!
