Would you buy a low-profile 750TI if it were easily available?

  • YES -- I'm definitely (or very likely) to get one!

  • I'd consider it.

  • N/A (poll results, need faster than 750TI, don't need low profile, etc.)

I'd buy one if I had a low profile case... but I don't.

It might come in handy if you wanted to do something like turn an old Dell Optiplex desktop system into a gaming box, though.

Exactly my plan... I tend to find these Lenovo and HP machines often, and cheap! The right video card can turn each one into a very capable machine!

I'm really digging some of the high performance SFF stuff coming out lately.

Gigabyte is making a new Brix PRO version (per TPU) with a GTX 760M GPU. I bet the unit will be too expensive like the other Brix units, but it's pretty darn cool I think. These devices and GPUs are fitting form factors that were unthinkable a few years back! Cool stuff.

Oh that Brix PRO has a 4900MQ level processor with a GTX 760. I believe the 760M is basically even with the desktop variant, it's a fully enabled GK104 GPU. Should be pretty cool. Probably too expensive, but that's always the case with newer things. A couple of years from now, I bet we'll be able to get insanely good GPU/CPU performance in the size of a box around double the size of an Apple TV I bet. Desktop will still be better obviously, but SFF has come such a long way. And that's pretty neat stuff.

Agreed, blackened! I wish we'd see more use of MXM graphic modules and systems to put them in!
