Ok, i havent had any luck with this when i slipped this question on one of my posts. But anyway here it is. I have noticed that most software license agreements (drivers) mention that the user is allowed to install one copy on a single manchine.
Well what confuses me is that, what if the user owns more than one machine.
Let's say the user has machines 1,2&3 and we'll use a graphics card as the installed hardware as an example. All of the machines have a brand X graphics card installed. The graphics cards may not be all of the same model but all are based on brand X gpu, which generally uses the same driver. Now is the user allowed (legally) to download and install the driver on all three machines?
