edit: - Out of the two originally proposed:

Go for the SanDisk.

They're both SF-2281 based drives and both will be running the same SandForce firmware. The Corsair uses ONFI synchronous NAND while SanDisk uses it's own toggle NAND. Toggle NAND has proved to be faster than ONFI synchronous NAND.

So SanDisk is a smidge faster and cheaper. The controller and firmware is the same on both.

Not looking for suggestions on other drives, just thoughts on the two listed.

Ah thank you very much. I had not picked up on that yet.

The NAND might not be as good, but I would pick a corsair ssd over something from SanDisk. And in particular, I've heard pretty good things over the past year or two about the force gt (as opposed to the regular force series).
