Currentley building a build for my friend, max video card budget is 150-175.
I am thinking of either the x800 gto 512
or the x800xl Due to scilence issues.
the case in use is a thermaltake xaser III.

if silence is a issue, than go with the gigabyte

also, you want to check out the FS/FT forums as some people are selling 6800GTs in that price range

Tasty! ah thanks, Well, it's going to power a 19" monitor and be playing unreal 2k4, command and conquer generals and possibly doom 3. Heaviest game, most likley doom 3/ act of war. Does the need for aa at higher resolutions diminish?
