Help me Choose Mem

just get another 512 of pc-3200. timings dont mean anything on the athlon 64, so dont worry to much about those.

1 gig of cas 2.5 > 512 of cas 2
 
yea, another 512mb of the same stuff. if u really have money to spend, invest in a 2x1gb, i hear bf2 likes ram =)
 
bf2 eats ram, im really really poor right now, college ate all my money, i just love this game so much, does anyone believe that id be making better choice buying same ram, or buying cheap 1gb ram.
 
please (!!!) do not get any cheapy ram. For your own sake. Get another 512 of what you already have.

<<<has played the bf2 demo and runs fine on my rig. (slight crazy stutter for about 2 seconds right when the match begins, but other wise runs great)

And I have run bf2 with 512mb of ram and it sucks. I'd say about 65% improvement with the extra stick. 🙂
 
I agree, just get another stick of the stuff you have. I had to RMA a stick of RAM back to Newegg and its been about 2 weeks since I played BF2. I tried playing it with 512mb and it was horrible. And don't cheap out on your RAM, it will hurt you more than paying the exta 10-20 bucks
 
i cross posted on Oc forums and they recomended me the corsair value select too. thats what i bought.
1.5gigs for the win!
