Hello, please help me choose. Here are the lists I can choose from:

http://www.skytech.lt/ausines-lanke...3053)&pav=0&sort=5a&sand=1&grp=1&pagesize=500

http://www.skytech.lt/mp3mp4ipod-gr...i-c-36_995_60.html?grp=1&sort=5a&pagesize=500

My budget is ~40usd for headphones and ~40usd for mp3 player. It's a little bit over 100moneys in the links I've provided. Thank you!

Music sound quality is the most important factor there. I understand it's hard to find something good for this money but I'm sure there must be winners among the low-end, too, right?

or if that'S too expesive, and you can make do with less space:

These players are small, have reasonable battery life, play back any type of audio you throw at them and are also cheap and dependable. Sound quality is also more than sufficient.

Can't help with the headphones in that range. I'd suggest some in-ear plugs though, they offer good value for money in that range.

Thank you, Rick! I was thinking about this exact mp3 player, too.
As for headphones I'm thinking between audio technica and sennheiser. But too many models for me to choose easily.

I have a sansa clip+ that just died on me for no apparent reason. I hope that doesn't happen to you

Nop, it's an old one. Also, I want quality audio.

quality is in the amp + headphones not so much the source when it comes to mobile setup.

I can't believe your phone doesn't play mp3. You don't even need a smartphone to have that feature.

It's a really old one. And i've read that the mp3 player I bought doesn't need an amp.
As for headphones I'd really appreciate suggestions for headphones for ~75usd.

Why would you want to drain your phone's battery for playing music though?

Oh, I'd prefer closed. I will be wearing them outside a lot and I don't like others knowing what I'm listening to and also we have cold winters here :D
Also, earbuds would go under earphone category, not headphone ;)

Yeah, could you offer some models I should definitely listen to?
Sennheiser and Audio Technica seem to be one of the best brands.
