I have about 200 bucks. here's my setup

amd 5000 BE
7900GS
2gig ram
22'' ACER
2.1 Kipsch pro media
nice cusy leather armchair
wirless mouse, ergonomic keyboard
thrustmaster joystick
a wheel for driving games

-----------

Anything I'm missing out on that 200 bucks or less could get me?
I was thinking on passing and using part of it to get my bike fixed, but Im not all that up to date with computer hardware anymore.

lol, that is awesome

too bad its out of stock =(

as far as video cards go, I'm trying to hold off onto the next iteration of DX10 cards since for the most part, I can play most modern games at medium resolution with medium settings w/ my 7900gs

I'm opening myself to suggestions though because I will buy a video card if I have absolutely nothing else to spend it on, it wouldn't be a waste, considering I plaY TONS of games

If you're dead set on getting a new card now but are worried about being out of date shortly when new stuff hits, pick up a card from EVGA and take advantage of their step-up program.

EVGA 8800GT for $160 AR

Should work great for anything short of Crysis and extreme resolutions for the next 6 - 12 months at least and would be a pretty substantial upgrade over a 7900GS. And if the new stuff wildly outclasses anything currently available, that's where your step-up comes into play.
