It looks like they have the same lens. I would check on the battery life between the two and the brightness of the lcd. Also, the Sony's use proprietary battery packs which can be expensive. But if all things are equal, I'd go with the larger lcd.
I have a couple of digital cameras. My cheap Fuji's lcd is small and useless in the sunlight, but batteries last forever in the thing, so i don't usually get stuck at a job site without being able to take pictures.
I have a 5.0 megapixel Olympus C5050Z that I have taken several thousand pictures with in the last couple of years. It takes great pictures, but it can eat up batteries when using the flash, definitely won't fit in my pocket, and could use a little more of a zoom range. But the buy price was right at the time and it uses AA rechargeables. Plus it has a lot of features, many of which I am just now starting to explore.
