Hello. I just got a new Xbox 360 and I want to play my games in HD. Unfortunately I cannot afford a HDTV so I decided to get a widescreen LCD monitor and connect through VGA. I am pretty tech savvy but I don't know much about HD. I am looking for a widescreen monitor between $300-400 (CDN) that will give me a good picture quality and little to no hassle. For example, I don't want to get my monitor and realize, oh, this monitor doesn't have the right connections to hook the 360 to or my monitors resolution doesn't match the 360's resolution. I have been thinking of these 2 monitors:

I doubt these are the best monitors on the market and I would like help in choosing a good one. Thank you.

kmmatney, any idea how that Westinghouse 22" compares to the Acer 22" Circuit City had on sale 2 weeks ago? I picked up the Acer for $259, with coupon, but that Westy sure looks tempting!

IIRC the E207 isn't an 8 bit, so given the choice between the two, i would go with the 2007. its a very respected display.
