Help me choose a game to get for my PS2

I have 4 main games I play right now. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas obviously, Ace Combat 5, ESPN 2K5, EA sports Chase for the Championship(Nascar racing). I also have MGS3 on preorder, although stupid toys r us hasn't gotten it in yet, but I can wait. As well as Gran Turismo 4 on preorder. I like racing and car games in general. I would love to get both games, and maybe when I have more money I will. But for now it seems like I should stick with just one of those 2.

I have never played the burnout series, but it gets awesome reviews, possible game of the year awards, and who wouldn't love a game that involves wrecking cars. I have played NFSU1 and it was a pretty good game. I have heard NFSU2 is even better and does gets excellant reviews.


So which should I choose?

I have Burnout 3 and it's fun as hell. It's freaking nutso when you play Road Rage, and I just love destroying everything

Yeah I want an Xbox too, as well as the logitech steering wheel for GT4, plus new parts for my computer and new computer games. Man it seems like there are just way to many games out I want right now or in the near future. It used to be that I could play one and beat it by the time the next game came out I wanted.

I do have about 10-12 older games I will be trading it at some point, but am not holding my breath on getting a lot out of them. 2-4 are greatest hits or games that just sold cheap. A few others are just several years old, and most of the remaining few are big name titles that are somewhat old, that these places likely already have 20 copies, thus won't offer much. I may be better off selling them on the forums.

Are you going to play online? If online, I'd take burnout 3 over nfsu2. If you're not going to be plaing online, I'd get NFSU2.

You mean when it comes out? First quarter 2005? Thats a long time to save money.

NFS2 is probably cool, but Burnout 3 is a blast.

You mean when it comes out? First quarter 2005? Thats a long time to save money.

I got it preordered with an expected arrival date of Mid december. I think they dropped the online play in order to get it out by christmas. And from what I hear, will likely add online support later for an extra cost.

Trade them in at Blockbuster Video/Gamerush. You'll only get store credit, but you will get more per game than you would at EB or Gamestop.
