What does God damning anything have to do with choosing a firewall? Or, is your vocabulary so weak that you have no other way to express yourself?

This has been discussed many times before *COUGHsearchCOUGH* but...

I use the Norton firewall with my DSL and am very happy with it. Seems to catch everything, has a "press button and get updated stuff" function and is easy to configure with all my games/apps. No conflicts or anything goofy and doesn't slow down my connection at all (I've checked).

How's that?

Why not? Everything works great, Shields Up! says I'm airtight, no problems with games....I don't see what's not to like.

It's your money tho.

MONEY-HA!

I don't pay jack for software... all i get is lisenced from my work, as an IT, i get anything i want, all the time i want it, for free. Thats how i got Windows XP, Office XP, and Photoshop - fully legal, and w/o paying a dime.

Back to the subject, no one here praises TPF?

I doubt its legal, if its licensed from work, then you taking it home to use doesn't at all make it fully legal.

btw: use zone alarm or even better yet a linux/bsd box doing NAT

I think soybomb's right. You're an idiot. If you have access to all this stuff, try them out and see what you think. Don't waste our time with your wiseass comments.
