Now that I'm essentially single again it's time to increase the size of my closet. My Dr. Martins are 10 years old!!! Time for some new shoes, maybe a few pairs. Something I can wear with jeans I guess, and nothing to fancy.

I found a few nice pair of low cut docs and a few nice pair of sketchers at an outlet mall, but they didn't have size 14.

Docs are awesome. Shoewise, just go to a store and find a nice pair of dress shoes. Brown shoes over black especially with jeans. If you want the comfort of running shoes, buy a dark colour. White shoes look retarded just about everything.

I get very nice clothes at the thrift shop. If you have an eye for quality, it's the best place to shop. Of course the opposite is also true. If you can't dress yourself, some of the clothes will make a clown look sharply dressed :^D

All I can say is don't take too much advice from the folks around here, they wear wrangler jeans, over sized and unstylish polo shirts while thinking they're in style, and then go post in L&R wondering why they can't find a date.

They sell clothes on the internet, shoes even. Most cities have big and tall shops where they'd probably call you SmallBills though.

Actually if you paid attention to fashion many get quite a bit of retro stuff this way. Quite a few modern styles are based on past generations off the rack stuff.

Hmm, well I've been with my wife for 7 years, so no... it won't be quite that easy. I never was a ladies man before either. I honestly was looking for shoe advice, god forbid! I don't know what normal people do.

And you won't hear anything about anyone that I sleep with.

Yeah, getting a divorce with the wife. Not in a rush to get into something, but I gotta start looking good. And by looking good, I don't mean looking trendy or fitting in with the norm. I just know that I need an upgrade from where I'm at now.

Clothes don't make you look good, you make you look good. Buy clothes that you like, and wear them with confidence. Chicks, and people in general like others that are sure of themselves ;^)
