Hey guys, I've been out of the whole pc/xbox360/gaming world for over a year and a half, last time I was in the business, the 8800GTX was the best card around. Now I see 280GTX or something like that, no clue lol. I am happy to see though that ATI came back with the video cards, I remember people thought they were gonna go out of business (same with the cpu)
Anyways, I just bought a laptop on the forums here and it has:
Toshiba Satellite P105-S9337
Core 2 Duo T7200 2Ghz
17" 1440x900
Geforce 7900gs 256mb (I remember this being a very oc'able vid card)
200gb 5400rpm
2GB 667Mhz
Also I can choose between XP and Vista ( I havn't even used vista yet, don't know anything about it other then people seem to now like it so much)
So basically I'm big into FPS's, RTS's and anything else which is an awesome game. I probably won't have online access for gaming on this laptop so take that into account.
Just from looking on gamespot I see that World in Conflict looks good, Command and Conquer 3, Call of Duty 4, Bioshock.. But I know that even if it got a high score that doesn't necessarily mean it's that good.
Thanks for the help!
