Help me buy a battery charger + rechargable AAs

It seems that the only two reliable websites that sell Maha products are Maha's official website and Thomas Distributing. Thomas Distributing's website is too cluttered and if I see anymore blinking graphics, I swear I will get a seizure. :|

What I want is just a good charger, a universal AC adapter (110-230v, 50-60Hz) and bunch of AAs for my (incoming) Canon A80.

Which of these charger kits should I get - MH-C401FS, C204F, MH-204GT? Link to all threeI'm pretty sure I am only going to get Maha's chargers. I am inclined towards the C204F.

Now on the batteries - is Maha's rechargables worth the price premium over other brands from say, batteryspace.com?

Maha official website has a sweet shipping deal of $2.99 1-2 days delivery to California via Airborne. The only problem is that they do not offer a combo kit with a universal AC adapter..TD's shipping is not as cheap and does anyone know where they ship their products from and how fast the process orders?

TIA!

The idea not not carrying yet another power block makes it very attractive, plus it does everything the Maha chargers do at lower temps. It's also easier on my wallet!

I have the Maha C401-FS and I love it. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

As for the batteries.. I have the Powerex 2200mAh.. I've been meaning to pick up some 2400mAh batteries and give them a try... I've seen some on eBay by different brands..

I would go for a charger combo MAHA C204F with Nexcell, Powerex or GP NiMH batteries.

Thanks Rossman 🙂 I am aware of that website and also know that Powerex is the best of the bunch.. but are they actually worth the price compared to other brands? If they are, I will just go for the combo with 8 AAs.

I would also consider buying from sunnbattery.com (search eBay for seller ptron1), that's where I bought our MAHA charger & batteries.

Hmm
I just found out that Thomasdistributing actually sells cheaper in its eBay front although there aren't as many choices. 😕

Yeah.. it's seem like a pretty obscure choice for a charger.. but after reading through some stuff, I think it is pretty decent. It's also mentioned at the beginning of the Great Battery Shootout page along with the Maha chargers.

Ahh.. Hmm.. Well, maybe it's not too bad, then.

It seems much like the Maha C204F as far as specs go. I can't seem to find how much current it puts out in full charge and trickle modes, though.
