I have an unusual problem. My laptop is pretty old but still runs, but the thing is I want a new one. My wife says she wont buy me one until the old one is broken. (I'd buy it myself, but she?s the one working). She?s pretty knowledgeable with computers so I can?t have any cosmetic damage or software/operating system damage because she will know. So what do you think is the best way to sabotage my HP laptop?

Can't you donate it to a charity as a tax write off? why destroy a good working laptop when somebody needy might need it.

Put it in the freezer overnight.

But I do agree killing a perfectly good laptop is a bad idea.

Sorry but thats one of the most stupid things I've heard this week. Get a job and buy your own damn laptop. :disgust:

C'mon folks, this is reverse sexism. Anyone consider maybe he's taking care of the kids and whatnot? That's more than a full-time job.

ever hear the old addage

a processor is a terrible thing to waste....

I would think you should take it to a park and let it get stolen if you really want to get rid of it. it'll go to some hoodlum who might use it for school or to get cash for more drugs/alcohol, but you'll be able to get you a new lappy and won't have to waste a good laptop.
