the MX700 always automatically move, it makes it very difficult to control.
the only option is the "cruise control", it doesn't matter I choose it or not,
the mouse just keeps tremble, just too intelligence :-(
anybody else also has this problem?

I just got the MX700 today and I have the exact same problem as you. My mouse would tremble from time-to-time. It's getting real anoying! If I'm not able to find a solution to this problem then I'll just have to exchange it for the MX500.

Have you downloaded the latest drivers for the MX700 on the logitech.com website and installed them?
Are you using your MX700 on a mouse pad meant for an optical mouse or a "bumpy" mouse pad meant for a ball mouse? If so, get rid of the ball mouse pad.
Have you moved your charger/base/transmitter to a new position much closer to the mouse...any new position will probably do the trick.

Yes, I did install the latest drivers and the base is only a feet away. The mouse pad is just a regular pad with lot's of colours and patterns. It's working better now that I've fully charged it, but the tracking still doesnt feel as accurate/good as my old ms wheel mouse optical. The sensitivity (speed) is set to 4/9 and Acceleration is set "No".

To get the best out of your MX700 or any optical mouse,I recommend you use the new Evergide Giganta optical mouse pad, from here ,btw the optica one is not that good($5.95 one). The mouse pads are great for the optical sensor and you`ll find your battery life will be longer in the mouse due to the fact that the sensor will find it easier to track on the mouse pad surface.

Everglide optical giganta mouse pad review here .

First ditch your old mouse pad; second get a mouse pad made for optical mice (see previous posts in this thread); third move the charger closer to the mouse's location (actually any movement might do, just to adjust the relationship between the mouse and the charger/antenna). Now, is it all better?

Also, try setting the speed of the mouse down a bit. That is often a problem when people upgrade to a higher performance mouse, they have the speed to high and you can't control anything.

yes, don't use your mouse pad, it will help.
(i have the same problem with a basic logitech optical mouse, once i skip the old mouse pad, the problem go away (not entirely but good enough) )
