so there has been a change of plans. My car was a dealer trade and the dealer who has the car says the vehicle was on hold for one of their good customers. SO i am not able to get the car. Because of this and because they told me i would get the car he is offering me a different one at a supposed larger discount.
2008 328i coupe, alpine white ext., beige leather int., premium package (power seats, BT, etc), sport package (sport rims, suspension?, etc), automatic with leather steering wheel and paddle shifters. No ipod connection is included just an audio jack.
MRSP is $42,000+. Not sure after discount. same terms 36 months, 15k miles, 2000 down, comes to $590 a month. Is the $20 a month more worth it?

You're already screwing yourself because you can't afford this car. It's not for people like you. You probably don't know what gas, insurance and tires will cost you over the 36 months. My roommate was going through a set on his 325 every 12 months. Go look up the price of rubber for a 328. You'll be surprised. Since they are performance tires you'll wear through them quickly and you are required to put back on, not exact same brand, but an equivalent tire at lease turn in with a minimum amount of specified tread.
$590/mo + PREMIUM gas & insurance is absurd. And if you drive as much as you claim, if you exceed 15,000 miles per year you will probably get hammered on paying for excess mileage in the end.
Not only that, but if you decide to get a house or anything in your life changes, you will be stuck with these payments for the next 36 months.
Leasing might be fine for you, but lease something you can afford.
edit:
You're looking at an effective payment of $645/mo for 36 months, if you wrap the down payment into your monthly cost. That's insane.
According to TireRack...
Tires for 2008 BMW 328i Coupe Base Model
Cheap runflats: Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22 RFT $180 per tire
OE runflats: Bridgestone Turanza EL42 RFT $222 per tire
By the time you factor tax, shipping, mount & balance, you'll get close to $1,200 to replace your tires. If you replace them once, and I doubt you can get away with that...
Your effective payment goes to: ~$680/mo; to replace twice... ~$715/mo. ouch.
