Help! (LCD Installation)

I was wondering if I could hook up this LCD without any further mods to it. There is a spec sheet there with a 16 pin pin-out guide. However, I'm not sure if it could be connected to a 16 pin interface. There is a very detailed guide on it, but I misplaced my EE Degree, and I'm not that familar with circuit boards. (Luckily my dad has his EE degree and can help me with soldering everything....)

I'm interested in this as well. I saw the other lcd screen they had there for 18 bucks that using a led backlight. That one could be easier to hook-up, but this one has more resolution 🙂

that LCD needs 18vdc to power the LCD screen. if you want to use that LCD in a PC, where are you planning on getting an 18 volts ?

You could get 17 by doing 12 + 5, that might work. Or you could try making a power converter. Or buy a variable power supply.

I could picture hooking this LCD up to a PC somehow and perhaps installing it in a car. Then you could make an MP3 player out of it all. That'd be cool
