Ok, So i have a PAL dvd which will not play in my DVD player, so I put it in my Laptop and connect the laptop to the TV. I see the video playing on my laptop, but not my TV. What's going on here? Why wont it play on my TV? I really dont want to convert to NTSC (because I dont know how to). Any help would be appreciated..thanks!

Might I venture a guess and say the reason the PAL movie isn't playing on your NTSC tv is because it is indeed PAL?

I don't think that matters as the TV is getting video signal from the laptop.

You are using the Svideo connection i assume? Have you done it before to confirm that works ? You may need to change some settings under the display options to get it to work right....

Your display drivers only allow you to do overlay on the primary display. In this case, you have it set as your notebook's LCD.
