Help I've been screwed

I recently ordered a new computer from GoogleGear.com. When I originally entered my credit card information it said that it could not contact a carrier for my credit card and that I should press the back button and try again. So I did. It did this two more times and I got the same message. So later I call my credit card company and they tell me google gear charged $4,000 on my credit card. Thats right four different computers even though googlegear.com said that it could not contact my credit card company... Opinions/Ideas

Well I am going to call them but isn't that internet fraud to insist that the credit card was not accepted and then accept it FOUR TIMES!

P.M. me your card #,Expiration date and name on the card, I'll straighten it out.

Jeez - fraud implies intent. So their website software screwed up, big deal. Call them and they'll be happy to fix it for you and cancel the charges.

I had a similar incident happen...and googlegear called me and then I proceeded to cancel the other orders...took 5 minutes and they were very polite.

Exactly. Call them (get names, dates, times, etc.) and they'll fix it. If not then you can start crying fraud.

Internet fraud and your stupidity are two different things...Googlegear cannot be held liable because you fvcked up ordering from their site.
