HELP! Is this a good build?

Im building a fairly high end gaming pc i was wondering if there was anything wrong with this setup. Hopefully if there is someone will catch it. This will be build within the next 2 weeks since i will be playing age of conan. i also will be getting crysis, and maybe sins of a solar empire. please take a look, and thanks in advance for any pointers!

Mobo - evga 750i sli FTW
CPU - e8400 core 2 duo, arctic cooling freezer 7 pro fan
Ram - patriot viper ddr2 1066 (2 x 2048)
Graphics - evga 8800 gts 512mb
psu - ultra pro-x 750w
hdd - seagate cuda 7200.10 16mb (500 gb)
drive - lite-on superallwrite sata dvd burner
case - smilodon extreme black

im also getting...
Logitech wave wireless keyboard mouse combo
zonet usb wireless network adapter
acer a-series 22" widescreen lcd
most likely vista 64 bit

not going to use sli? don't get sli motherboard, get p35 motherboard for $100 or less.
ddr2-1000 is enough for overclocking
xigmatek hdt-s1283 > arctic cooling freezer 7 pro
psu is overkill if you don't use sli, corsair 520/550 would be plenty.
western digital 640GB is the hdd to get.

Well i do plan to sli in the future, so theres the board and psu problem. Also, I already have the fan Im going to consider the hdd you mentioned, and will take your ram advice for sure as i had no idea there. Thanks!

If by SLI in the future you mean add in a second 8800GTS down the road, it's not worth it. At that point you're better off just buying a single new card and replacing the old one.

Gigabyte P35-DS3L - $90 (a quality, non SLi motherboard)
eVGA 750i SLi FTW - $190 (motherboard you chose)
Money saved on motherboard - $100
Money used on second 8800GTS (theoretical, estimated price) - $150
Total money saved on future video card of your choice - $250

Would you rather limit yourself to a second 8800GTS which by the time you get around to buy one, may be one to three generations old, or get a newer video card that has better architecture, most likely consumes less power, and uses more updated hardware and technology at $250? One more advantage is that you then also have the option to spend more than $250 because you aren't locked into your upgrade of an 8800GTS at $150.

Not to mention that a 750i motherboard is going to have major quirks. You just don't want your computer getting PMS.
The ds3 is a good manly motherboard.

I used a wireless mouse when I was gaming last year and I still use one for day-to-day stuff this year. Never had any major problems, and certainly didn't blame any losses on "mouse lag".
