this really sucks. I really hate that place now. I spent 3000$ there in 2 years and I regret it.

anyways listen to me go on :)

I need to return a gighurtz home phone that dosent work. it needs the base unit or something. But its kinda there fault beacuase they never asked my girlfriend if we had the base at home for the dam phone. :(

Tell them it doesn't work, and that you don't want a replacement phone, you want a refund, you don't trust the product, yadda yadda. Generally, the restocking fee only applies to returned merchandise that's functional. If you have to, speak with a manager.

The base unit is the device that the handset docks on. Are you sure you don't have that? There's no restocking fee on cordless phones. You just need to return in within 30 days. The 15% restocking fee only applies to computer-related products.

it's probably one of those models that allows for extra hand sets. some are like that. one main "base" and other hand sets. of course other there is a base to recharge each handset.
