Help! Is my Radeon dead?!

Hey guys,

Was messing with my FSB last night and forgot to check if the AGP/PCI bus lock was set... now the system won't post, sometimes it gives an orange screen and nothing else.

However, it's definitely the card as I'm typing this with my g/f's GF4 Ti4800SE128 in my PC. Oh and I've set the BIOS back to normal, doesn't help.

The card's a Rad 9000 Pro 64Mb if that helps. I guess it's a good excuse to splash for a 9600 Pro, huh?

Well, I got a new Radeon 9600 Pro 128Mb, and I fricking love this thing! I've got my rota'd two days off now, so it's 48hrs of anti-aliased and filtered goodness

One thing I did notice though, is that the 2D quality of my second display is now absolutely amazing- using a Sun 17" Trinitron as my second monitor, through a DVI-VGA adaptor. On the old R9000, the text was a little fuzzy and I just put it down to the screen being old. With this new card, the text quality meets and even exceeds my primary monitor! Shame the Sun job won't display DOS though

3,300 in 3DMark 03 and 11,000 in 3DMark 2001SE (stock).
