HELP - internet wise

I just got a new harddrive and installed windows xp pro on it. The compouter is a 2 year old dell. Everything is working good except it when i dial up to the internet, it the internet work for like 15 mins then stops working. the weird thing is that its still connected through the phone line. any sugestions?

Do you have the correct modem driver installed? Does it require an updated one? Are all the settings verified to be correct?
