help installing windows xp 64

I have a new build. I am trying to install windows xp 64 pro on this and am having a problem. The system will copy the files to the hard drive but when it reboots it will not start from the hard drive even when i make this the boot drive. I get a message to install boot disc in drive.
Help will be greatly appreciated. This is a first build.

Sounds like the OS is not detecting the correct HAL for your motherboard.
(WinXP doesn't always do a good job of detecting ACPI motherboards)

Press F5 when the "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware" screen
appears, then select " Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC".

Also, make sure NO USB devices are connected.
