Help installing virtual drive software after SP2

I installed SP2 (with some difficulties, but it came out OK at the end) and now cannot install either CDSpace (which I've been using for a while now) or Alcohol (tried it). I get a BSOD with scsiport.sys being the cause.

I tried replacing the new version in \System32 with the older version from the SP2 uninstall, but no joy. Ideas? The software installs, but when it tries to install the actual drives I get the blues.
