Hi.

Problems are...

1) Since I installed Service Pack 2, I noticed that all the programs or any installers I have that are a Package Windows Installer simply do not respond at all when I double-click on them.

2) I also noticed that some of my ususally working Windows services do not work at all in the same way. After a double-click, nothing happens at all. Services like Diskeeper, or even the Run / Exec line, where we can type things like "dxdiag" and "msconfig".

I still haven't activated my Windows XP, but I have tried. I formated today, and I tried to activate Windows via Internet like I always did before...but now it didn't activate...

Another window appeared and told me that my Key has reached its activations limit !

Since I have everything legit, I will just call Microsoft today to get a new Key or something similar.

But is it possible that I'm getting some sort of restrictions in my Windows because it is still not activated ?

I'd appreciate facts / comments, of course.

Thanks for your time.

limit on acitvations just means you can't activate over the Internet anymore. You will have to call Microsoft and they'll give you an activation code over the phone to punch in.

Oh ok, that's cool. Yep I'll call them today for that.

As for my other problems, do you have any ideas ? You, or anyone else ?

Thanks.
