Help in Video Editing - Getting audio on to a VHS tape?

I think I finally got everything figured out for video editing except exporting audio. I edit it in premiere, export to a video file, switch resolution to 800x600, enable the tv part in ATI program, play full screen while recording on the vcr. Except i can't get the audio to export. I thought it would go in Speaker Out but that doesn't work. The only other ports on my SB Live! are Mic in, Line in, Surround sound, and digital out. My vcr (it's from like 1970) only has one jack for the two rca audio cables (only the white, not the red, so that is just mono right) but I would think it would still work. So how can I export audio to vhs tape?

Also, there is a small black border at the bottom of the video. I can't see to get rid of it. It's like the video is not completely going full screen.

Thanks for any help.

need 2 spliters to make sure you get both channels, or make sure that all playback comes out of the sblive as mono and just get a phono to rca adapter.

Walmart, radio shack, any place that sells rca connectors.

small headphone style jack (male - plug into front speakers of sblive) to 2 rca jack split(female) 1 rca (male - plug into vcr) to 2 rca (female)

also need a patch cable of length needed that will be attached to the 2 sets of female ends.

basic layout, can match and switch as you like.

koni: Yeah but I couldn't edit the videos with sound and cut out parts (its snowboarding) without doing this...

topo: Hmm ya wanna explain that again? I don't understand what you mean.
