Help in picking a motherboard

Hey,

I just need help selecting a motherboard. I'm not too knowledgeable on the technicalities.
I know Ivy Bridge is going to be compatible with current Sandy Bridge motherboards but when Ivy Bridge comes out next year are there going to be new things that only Ivy Bridge designed motherboards can do? Or can current Sandy Bridge motherboards fully utilize the potential of Ivy Bridge? I'm just curious on this aspect, but it won't affect my decision in a major way.

I'm just aware more expensive motherboards are for overclocking but I'm not sure which ones are for me.

Anyway, here's some info on what I generally need. It's not much:
-Space to crossfire Radeon cards
-I'm not going to overclock anything
-If you link to anything, preferably it must be order-able on Amazon or from another retailer that can use international credit cards in the States
-Just want a motherboard to get the job done, will not tinker with anything
-High Quality
-Gonna use with sandy bridge processors

If anything else, I currently use this case:

Waiting for Ivy Bridge could be an option if it's really that necessary but since IB is backwards compatible, I don't see why I should.

I'm gonna probably switch into an IB processor with this new motherboard once IB matures a bit more after its release.

Any other input?
Mainly, I just want input about the Sandy/Ivy bridge issue. If getting a motherboard specifically designed for IB will be important to fully utilizing the new IB processors.

I've got more information about this future build.

Probably gonna use 8GB of RAM
i5 2500 processor
Radeon HD 6850

After looking around, might be down to these 2.
Would these be good enough for the upcoming IB bridges from intel?

What's your budget for the motherboard? A upper limit and a range you prefer would help in advice.

For example, you could have $200 for this but would prefer not to spend more than $160 unless there is an amazing or compelling deal that's closer to 200.

Around $150 would be good. Just like the motherboards I provided there.
Anything around $200 seems to be overkill given I'm not even going to utilize any high end utilities or even overclock it.

sorry to jump in but is there such a thing as MB that does both PCI EXP x16 at 16 band width in SLI or am i just dreaming?
