HELP~ I'm using A7V133, and the Sound Blaster Live MP3 + 5.1 IRQ conflicts other PCI IRQ! :(

Hi,
My sound card conflicts other PCI IRQ.
This is how I set up my system.

PCI 1: Free
PCI 2: Free
PCI 3: Sound Blaster Live MP3 + 5.1
PCI 4: 3 Com NIC
PCI 5: U.S. Robotic 56kps modem.

I'm also using the Logitec Ifeel Mouseman. By the way, I don't use the Raid 0.
Which PCI IRQ conflicts the sound blaster Live IRQ?
It says SB16 Emulator IRQ conflicts other PCI IRQ.

I had a similar problem.. I found out that pci slots 3 and 5 shared irqs and etc. I shifted the cards around: modem in slot 5, live in slot 4 and nic in slot 3... everything works great now.

mercutio11, you can always disable sb emulation in device manager/creative multimedia thereby eliminating the irq conflict!

used for playing dos games. you'll not miss out on anything if you disable it if you don't need it for dos games!
I have mine disabled as you also save 1 irq by doing so.

SB emulation is for old DOS games. Unless you play a lot of DOS games, disable it.

And dont move the card, PCI 3 is the only slot that DOESNT share, just disable SB 16 Emulation.
