Help! IE 6.0 Save dialog problem!

Help! I stupidly clicked the "Always ask before opening this type of file" button that makes IE never ask me to save when I download. It now always assumes I want to open it, and in doing so it downloads without opening a download window. 🙁

Is there a way to undo that? I looked through the registry and the IE options tab, but didn't see anything.

Thanks!

Go to the Security Tab under Internet Options. Click on Custom Level button to open Security Options dialog. Find Download section there and DISABLE file download. Then restart IE and ENABLE file download again. There is a chance this will reset the setting you accidentally set.

I have not tried it, but I think it is worth a shot.
