bacillus:
When I am in Internet Explorer-5, and click on "tools > internet options > advanced" and then scroll down to "search from the address bar > when searching" there are 4 options to choose:
1. Display results, and go to the most likely site.
2. Do not search trom the address bar.
3. Just display the results in the main window.
4. Just go to the most likely site.
Normally there is no option selected. When I select "just go to the most likely site" and then click "apply" and close, I can go back later and look, it will still be changed.

BUT the first time I type in an address in the address bar and try to go to that web page, it never does. It ALLWAYS goes to Microsoft?s search engine page. I can then go back and look at the options, the settings will be changed back like they were. :| It drives me nuts to type in an address, and have it ALWAYS go to Microsoft?s web site first. There has to be a way to make it "just go to the most likely site" and stay the way I choose. THANKS!!
