Help identifying this SSD

I came across a LiteOn SSD that I can't seem to identify correctly. The model is LCS-256M6S.

The closest thing I can find is an M3S.


Anyone have any ideas?

LiteON is Plextor's OEM branch. Looks like you came across the unreleased M6S, although Plextor has been showing it at a few trade shows already.

Google suggests that the SSD may be an OEM version for Dell. In fact Dell has already posted a firmware update for it.

edit: I found some, but it's still a little confusing because it says the M6 is 5mm profile, but this drive is 7mm.
