So my girlfriend has always talked about this video game she used to play as a kid (circa 1985), and I've been desperately trying to find it for her. Her memory, like mine, is pretty awful, so there aren't a lot of details. She says she owned an Atari, so I assume it was on that console. From her description, your character's goal is to collect various food items dropping. She's settled on the fact that these food items included french fries, strawberries, and milkshakes. There may be others, like hamburgers and hotdogs, but she's not 100% sure. Can anyone help?
I've already determined it's not Burger Time, Beef Drop, Food Fight, Plaque Attack, Mega Mania, Commander Keen, Bubble Bobble, Wonder Boy, Rootbeer Tapper, or Fast Food.
More details: Apparently the screen had food items of the same type (strawberries). As soon as you fulfilled the level requirement, the food items would change into a different type (french fries).
Flame advisory: Look, I know this is a tall order, and I'm thankful for any help you can give. Most of these games are almost a surefire match for her description, and I've done my best to convince her that those are the games without any success. I'm super frustrated that I can't find the game myself; that's why I posted in hopes you ATOTs could help out. If you can't, kindly move on.
