I just received about a dozen Intel engineering sample CPU's and have no idea what speed they are. One has the markings A70302CRA0-102 DCXXXXXPXXXXXX QXXX (M)(C)96.
Can anyone help?

Seeing as its a slot 1 but has external cache chips it might be a PII 450 or less... But there was a rumor awhile back about some PII 500 ES`s floating around...? Or maybe a Slot1 P3 w/512k cache??? (never seen one so I dunno???) 450-600mhz???

The first one seems to be rather old, very large die. Could be a old PII, looks like my old pii 300mhz. The second one I have no idea, could you post a picture of the other side ?

I know intel had made quite a few Katmai Engineering Samples. I had 2 600's & 4 533's, that would OC to hell and back. These are the same design, but what people need to know, is that the CORE is going to be the same from a 233-333 & 350-600. They'll all have 512k, and anything in the 100mhz, should do 600 w/o problem, and anything in the 233-333 [I'm not sure if the design is different from the 66 - 100mhz] should do upwards the same, with the right multiplier settings.

If you posted FULL #'s I could tell ya. Or PM me.
