Recently my ThinkPad just started turning itself off for no reason at all. I can be in Windows and the thing will simply turn itself off as if the AC and battery were pulled out even though the batterly is at 100% and the AC cord is plugged in. I then can push the power button and the LED's will light up, the laptop will begin to boot up and suddenly, not even half a second after I pushed the power button, the thing will turn itself off before it even reaches the IBM BIOS screen. It must be a hardware problem because it turns itself off before it even started actually booting the HD. To be sure I even plugged the HD into another ThinkPad of the same model and I had no problems. The stupid thing will not boot at all unless I leave it off for a few hours and then it will eventually boot and let me use windows for a period of time before it all starts over again : ( I never dropped or abused the thing and I almost never leaves my house with it. I even flashed the BIOS with the latest version yet the problem continues.
Do any of you guys have any ideas as to what the problem might be. If not do you know of any other forums where I might find help?
