Piece of crap .... I tried to make a payment using my credit card and the stupid thing declined it for some reason.
So, paypal decides to use my bank account, which has no money in it!!!! Besides, this is an old bank account.
So, what are my options? I can't cancel the transaction because it went through. My choice is to either deposit
money into this bank account or have the guy refund it?

My question is, as a seller can you refund the charge instantly? Since my money came from my bank account, does
the seller has to do something on his part to deposit the money into his account? I dont want to get hit with a bounce
check fee cuz I dont have enough money. Besides, I really hate to take money from my savings. After all this is why I wanted to use my credit card!!!!!

I tried calling paypal, but they got me on hold!!!! I emailed the seller and I'm hoping he can reverse the charge.

You better make a deposit really fast. He can send you $ back, but what the bank's gonna do is take the debit first...meaning you'll bounce + get hit w/ fees...and then credit your deposit.

I screwed up on paypal myself yesterday. I didn't add my new bank account before removing my old one which I closed. Now i'm in UNVERIFIED state! Blegh, i've been Verified for at least 3 years now. I hate seeing UNVERIFIED next to my (95) :(

mmm if he sends it back...that's not a refund...that's a separate transaction. Then to cash it...it takes 3-4 days. You better make a deposit to cover urself first.

yea ... just called paypal. it will take 3-4 days to finalize this whole thing.
once the seller gives me a refund, it has to go through the whole process again. too time consuming!!!

yea ... i'm starting to hate paypal!!!!

after it told me my CC was denied, I was going to see what changes I needed to make. I pressed continue thinking it would send me back to the previous screen to change my information and the damn thing submitted again and this time it used my bank account information. my fault for using an old account!!!
