I did a moderate OC with my 1.8a P4 NW. I increased the FSB to 112, then I decided to reset it to it's defaults. These are my system specs:

P4 NW 1.8Ghz
TH7II-RAID
(2) 120GB WD HDD
1GB RDRAM (4 Sticks)
Radeon 8500
Stock Cooling w/AS3
Windows XP Pro

After reseting it to 1.8Ghz, I ran 3DMark2001 SE, and a Windows XP BSOD came up and restarted my computer. I have ran Prime95 for about 12 hours and I haven't gotten any errors yet. Please let me know what's wrong and how I can fix it.

Thanks

What is the BSOD message??? Is it something about win32.sys file and non page fault???

It could be the memory is having problems and corrupted a file....

May have to do a repair or reinstall of windows xp to fix, especially if something got corrupted....

Why did you mention win32.sys in particular? Is there something about that file that I should know? It only happens when I run 3DMark2001 SE. I tried reinstalling it, and so far there aren't any errors.

3DMark2001 S.E. tells me I need a CPU with MMX functions and that I need to run an older version when I try to run it using my P4 1.6A/P4S333@2320mhz so I suspect the problem is with S.E.'s stability when overclocking using XP since 3DMARK2001 runs perfect and identifies my P4 correctly@any speed. I hope this helps since I have yet to get any explaination as to why else S.E. acted like I was running an original Pentium when overclocking my Northwood.
