Ok so here is the dealio. I have music that i have ripped on Itunes. Note: i didnt buy this music from there store. i ripped my cd's onto it. Now i need to convert my music to mp3 for my new player. I could just re-rip my cd's but i have a few albums that are either lost or damaged so the only copies i have of them are on Itunes. So i really need to atleast convert these to mp3 audio. What program do i use??? Thanks inadvance for the replies.

What did you rip them to? OGG? Try googling for a converter for whatever file type it is.

Also, if Winamp can play it, it can write it out to disk as a .WAV file using their WAV output plugin.

A Google search might have told you that's AAC with MPEG-4 audio encoding.

slightly more info

Not sure the best way to turn that into something else, though. Perhaps someone who uses iTunes can help. You could also try the Software forum, since this is, uh, not a hardware problem.
